Great customers of Sage to Summit, Michelle Spresser and Elsbeth Otto share their mountain run from the Mono Pass trail in Tuolumne Meadows to Agnew Meadows. This point to point requires a car shuttle which you can easily do the morning of the run. According to Michelle, this route is very "runnable" with smooth single track for a large portion of the run. It is a few miles shy of a marathon, and overall descends 1500'. It goes over three passes, Parker, Kiop and Gem, all offer stunning views as seen in the pictures below. Summit lake offers refreshing swimming and a place to break until the final stretch along the Pacific Crest Trail into Agnew Meadows. The last stretch is notoriously hot and dusty, so be prepared to find your mojo at the finish. If you park your car at Mammoth Mountain, be sure to finish the run by 7, so you can take the last shuttle out. Details of the run are here.
