Anyone that has climbed in the Tablelands for some time knows that the holds here have changed quite a bit over the years. One of the major issues contributing to the deterioration of holds is the use of plastic brushes. The rock in the Tablelands is pretty soft, and years and years of brushing with hard bristles can wear away the rock. The best solution is boar's hair; while still stiff enough to get chalk off, boar's hair brushes are gentle enough to mitigate the issue.
